Chester is a city in Cheshire, England. It is a unique and charming town, rich in history and with a lively culture. It lies on the right bank of the River Dee, in the flats of Cheshire, close to the border with Wales. Chester was founded by the Romans and its city walls are the most complete city walls in Britain.

 

The Eastgate Clock is located on the site of the original entrance to the Roman fortress and is considered the most photographed clock in Great Britain after Big Ben. Explore the cathedral's cloister or the Rows, the wonderful and peculiar two-level shopping arcades.
